I recently attended the Social Media Marketing World 2023 conference in San Diego, and it was an incredible experience. Over three days, I had the opportunity to learn from some of the top minds in the social media marketing world, attend workshops, and connect with other professionals in the industry.
VIP Workshop with Pelpina Trip: How to Create Quality Videos with Your Phone
One of the highlights of the conference was the VIP workshop hosted by Pelpina Trip about Video Creation: How to Easily Create Quality Videos With Your Phone. Pelpina is an expert in video creation and has worked with many brands to help them create engaging video content. During the workshop, she shared her tips and tricks for creating high-quality videos using just your phone.
Pelpina’s workshop was incredibly informative and hands-on. We had the opportunity to practice filming and editing videos using our own phones, which was a great way to put her tips into action. Some of the key takeaways from the workshop included:
The best video tool is the one you will use. Fancy tools won’t guarantee you’ll make the video.
Lighting is key: Pelpina emphasized the importance of good lighting when filming videos. She recommended filming near a window or using a ring light to achieve good lighting.
Audio matters: While the visual quality of a video is important, audio quality is just as important. Pelpina recommended using an external microphone, such as a lapel mic, to improve audio quality.
