Now don't get me wrong I'll still be posting, scheduled of course, and I may pop on to engage or share a Story or two but I won't be as routine about it as I normally am.

You see, I've discovered the magic of having a content plan. It's a game-changer, I promise! It doesn't mean everything is set in stone months in advance (unless that's your thing, in which case, go for it!). It just means there's a bit of structure, and I'm here to help if you need it.

When I first started creating content, I was constantly chasing new ideas. It felt like I was on a hamster wheel—always moving but never getting ahead.

I was on the brink of burnout when I realized something: I didn’t need to keep reinventing the wheel.

Instead of creating content from scratch every time, I started REPURPOSING.

But not just reposting—I learned to tweak, reframe, and expand on what was already working well.

Suddenly, my content was more effective, more engaging, and it actually resonated with my audience.

That one shift made all the difference.

Now, I show up consistently, connect deeper, and build a loyal community—without the overwhelm.

What's the best advice you ever received?💙

Pivot, don't quit came from my friend Kylie @seowebfirst and it was at the beginning of the mess that was 2020😩.

My kids were home for an undetermined amount of time, with no idea how the school year was going to end. Hubby had been laid off and I let all my coaching clients go because they were store fronts that had to close, and it was the right thing to do.

I was defeated and ready to call it quits when I saw those words on her Facebook post. Sometimes you don't know who's watching or how your words may impact them.

With those words I had a renewed energy. The pivot gave birth to #StaceyOnSocial from #upvirtualcommunications (my original business name) and I went head on into building my authority on social media. From Instagram to Facebook, Twitter and Clubhouse I've shared my experiences and expertise with others, and will continue to do so by adding in YouTube and Threads 📹📼.

I live by those words still to this day. Sometimes the pivot is small like adding a videos series to my regular content and sometimes its HUGE like writing an entire program only to scrap it (the cost and launch plan anyway) for a more something NEW coming in 2025.

I dont know if it will be a success but I believe it is what people need right now.

So, if you ever needed a sign to keep going I hope this is it! PIVOT, DON'T QUIT!

I’m the face behind Stacey On Social, where community, connection, and content are at the heart of everything I do.

My passion for storytelling started back in university, where I earned my degree in Media and Communication in 2016.

But my love for social media runs even deeper—I’ve been working in this space for 13 years and running my own business for 7.

Over that time, I’ve seen the power of online communication to build not just networks, but close, meaningful communities.

That’s what inspires my work every day.

When I’m not helping my clients tackle their social media, I’m at home with my two teenage boys (life is never boring!) and my husband of 18 years.

I’m also a music lover with a growing record collection.

Fun fact: I've been to over 100 concerts and once body-surfed at a Tragically Hip concert the day before my 20th birthday—it’s a memory that still makes me smile!
