Creating content is a labor of love, and every piece deserves to shine. But once you hit publish on that blog post, what happens next?
Let me walk you through my personal process of transforming a single blog post into a multi-platform powerhouse.

This follows my golden rule for repurposing content: BREAK IT APART OR EXPAND ON IT!

Here’s how you can steal my repurposing workflow.

1. Write a Blog Post
It all starts with a blog post. Imagine you’ve just written a detailed guide on home organization tactics. This post is the foundation of your content strategy. It’s rich with insights, stories, and actionable tips. Now, let’s breathe new life into it.

2. Recreate as an Instagram Carousel
I take the key points from the blog post and design an Instagram carousel. Each slide features a bite-sized piece of information, a tip, or a quote. It’s visually appealing and easy for my followers to swipe through. Think of it as the highlight reel of your blog post, but in a format perfect for Instagram.

3. Talk About It on Stories
Next, I hop on Instagram Stories to talk about the blog post. I share behind-the-scenes insights, personal anecdotes, and quick tips. Stories are great for engaging with your audience in real-time. I always add a link to the full blog post so my viewers can dive deeper if they want.

4. Send to Your Email List
I don’t forget about my loyal email subscribers. I send out a summary of the blog post, highlighting the main points and why they matter. This keeps my audience informed and directs traffic back to the blog. Plus, it’s a great way to maintain a personal connection with my subscribers.

5. Republish as a LinkedIn Document
LinkedIn is where I reach my professional network. I turn the blog post into a LinkedIn document, complete with images and key takeaways. It’s a fantastic way to showcase expertise and engage with colleagues and industry leaders. This document often sparks interesting discussions and connections.

6. Film a Short Reel
Reels are the new goldmine on Instagram. I create a short, snappy reel that summarizes the blog post. It’s a quick way to grab attention and direct followers to the full content. I make sure it’s engaging, with a strong hook at the beginning to captivate viewers.

7. Repost as an Idea Pin
Pinterest is a visual search engine, perfect for driving long-term traffic. I turn the blog post into an Idea Pin, breaking it down into actionable steps or tips. Each pin is designed to stand out and attract clicks, leading users back to my blog for more detailed information.

By following this repurposing process, I ensure that my content reaches as many people as possible across different platforms. It’s all about working smarter, not harder. Steal this workflow and watch your content’s impact grow!
